Rosie was saved by Peaceful Acres Horses from the slaughter pipeline with her best friend Tank. They were huddled together, afraid of where they were and what was going to happen to them. As we entered the holding pen that day, we knew we had to save their lives and preserve their very special friendship. They were eager to come with us and jumped right into the trailer.
Rosie and Tank needed some added TLC when they arrived at PAH. Rosie was thin and somewhat timid and untrusting, but willing to let us help her. It didn’t take long for Rosie to show her true love to interact with people.
Rosie and Tank are now two of our adorable minis who help people to feel joy and hope. Rosie attends community events and is always the first mini to greet guests and clients at the farm. Rosie’s best days are meeting with people, especially children who are enrolled in our coaching programs.
