Equine-Guided Emotionally Supportive Programs
Kids and Teens are experiencing challenges that were not present a decade ago. We offer a real hands-on, screen-free positive experience for young people. Peaceful Acres is a beautiful place for youth and teens to gain clarity, peace and feel refreshed. We specialize in partnering people with horses and donkeys (and sometimes goats too) in programs, guided by leadership coach Nanci, that go a level above traditional person-to-person personal growth and development coaching. Our program animals are intuitive, fun and incredibly helpful for young people especially to be able to feel comfortable and unburden themselves of the challenges that they are facing.
Nanci is a Certified Leadership Coach with a Masters Degree in Social Work. She has spent nearly 20 years working alongside the horses with young people to help in a wide range of ways. Sometimes we all need a little encouragement, an experience to spark our passion, to regain hope, and to enjoy valuable time in a nature-based environment.
Kids and teens need a break from screens and the super-charged fast-paced world. We provide that here and our Equine-Guided Emotionally Supportive Programs are an ideal setting for making lasting positive memories and learning healthy social/emotional/behavioral skills and habits. Nanci will lead your child or teen through a horse-assisted program session that may include:
– an introduction to the rescued animals,
– personalized indoor arena ground-work with specially thought-out and timed questions,
– walking their specially chosen horse (mini or donkey) around the peaceful scenic sanctuary property while talking or quiet depending on the need of the participant,
– time for follow-up questions, reflection, and relaxing time with the animals.
We have found the when participants are with the the horses they feel more ready and confident to make progress in healing, overcoming and thriving.

With the expert help of Certified Leadership Coach Nanci Beyerl and the Rescued Equines of PAH, you will noticed a renewed sense of stability, confidence and resiliency in your child or teen.
How It Works
During each session, you’ll engage with our horses through a series of exercises designed to mirror real-life challenges. Horses are keenly aware of human emotions and provide immediate feedback, making them powerful co-facilitators in the coaching process. Nanci will help you reflect on these interactions, gaining valuable insights into how you lead, communicate, and handle stress. Each session is tailored to your unique goals, whether you’re seeking personal growth, emotional healing, or leadership development.
What’s Included
– Initial consultation with Nanci to discuss your goals and intentions
– 1:1 Personalized equine-led 1-hour coaching sessions
– Real-time feedback from interactions with horses
– Reflection and debriefing after each session to explore insights and growth areas
