Lulu, Rescued Mule at Peaceful Acres

“Lulu was saved by Peaceful Acres Horses from the slaughter pipeline on October 8th 2015 along with 2 young ponies and an Off Track Thoroughbred. When she arrived at PAH she was terrified of people, it was obvious that she had had a tough start in life and did not receive the care and love she needed and deserved.

It did not take long at Peaceful Acres Horses for Lulu to have the attention of all of our volunteers, they were amazed by her courage and drawn to her by her beauty and resiliency. Over the years Lulu has befriended some other rescues and has become besties with Daisy, our oldest donkey on the farm. She is still a tad shy, yet has chosen a few volunteers who she trusts as loyal friends. Lulu is in her forever home with us at PAH and that means she needs sponsorships.
