Joseph’s Story
Joseph is a handsome, spunkey, sweet little pony that Peaceful Acres Horses saved from the slaughter pipeline. Joseph was named in memory of one of PAH’s very generous and wonderful contributors who passed away. When we met Joseph and his best friend Caroline in the kill pen we knew we needed to save them both and name them after our friends Joseph and Caroline. Today Joesph and Caroline offer emotional support to youth, seniors, veterans and people surpassing grief, loss and trauma. To see them in action is absolutely heart warming. PAH’s Horse and Donkey Hugs program is made possible by Joseph and Caroline and others who are included in this very worthwhile and mutually beneficial program.
