Twister is a long-time resident of PAH. He has been in Nanci’s care since before the founding of Peaceful Acres Horses Rescue Sanctuary. Twister spent many years helping people in EGES programs and is retired now. He has recently had to undergo eye-removal surgery and is much more comfortable now. Horses can sometimes get recurring eye infections that cause pressure, discomfort and pain. We are extremely thankful to our vet for helping to solve the chronic eye pain. He is getting to be an old guy now, he’s still a tough, bold and cool horse. Twister played a major role in who Nanci is today and they have been valuable partners in helping people together. One of Twister’s specialties has been helping people to find their courage and leadership abilities in Equine-guided Coaching Programs. Through his boldness and strength, he helped people to understand that they can be strong and communicate clearly too. Good job, Twister! -SL
