PAH Event / Activity / Volunteering Release of Liability for Events - Open Stable Days - Rock For Rescues Concerts - Volunteering - Guest Visits. I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge that I have registered to participate in an event and /or activity which includes interaction with horses and other equines. Pursuant to the "Agricultural Tourism Safety Act", NYS General Obligations Law Section 18-subds. 301, 302 and 303 (enacted 2017). I understand that any activity associated with horses, mules and donkeys involves inherent risks of injury. I (and my family) further understand that an animal, irrespective of its training and usual past behavior and characteristics may act or react unexpectedly or unpredictably. I (and my family) understand that as a visitor at PAH, I have the responsibility to exercise reasonable care around the working farm, obey all posted signs and verbal instructions, stay within designated areas and not willfully remove, deface, alter or damage any PAH signage, warnings or safety devices and respect all the animals and people on the farm. As consideration for being permitted by Peaceful Acres Horses, Inc. to engage in a event or activity I do hereby release Peaceful Acres Horses, Inc., Nanci Beyerl, the High Point at Peaceful Acres, LLC, and all other owners, officers, members, family, affiliated organizations, land owners or employees for injury or death caused by or resulting from my (my child or family's) participation in the event or activity at the farm. I have carefully read this agreement and fully understand its contents.
