Events in the PAH Yurt

Plan your event, workshop, retreat, wedding, reunion or business picnic in our beautiful 30 foot yurt with stunning views of the mountains.  This very special facility was made possible by a grant secured from The Charles R. Wood Foundation.  The purpose of the yurt is to invite our local community into our equine rescue and equine guided experiential learning sanctuary where people can enjoy the facility and also programs.

The best news is if you plan your event or workshop here at PAH’s Yurt,  the fees you pay for your day in the yurt will directly assist PAH to feed and care for the rescued horses that are living at the ranch. 

Picture your special day with the sun shining in the windows of the yurt and sitting in Adirondack chairs overlooking the pastures with grazing horses. Perhaps you will want to spend some time with the horses, in that case we can customize a fun day of equine guided experiential learning for your group or family. Yes EGEL is fun and also enlightening!

Rates: $250 + depending on the program, event and number of hours you wish to spend at PAH.

Church in The Yurt – is free of charge and will begin in May 2012. A donation to PAH is very much appreciated. Join our Cowboy & Cowgirl Church, on Sunday afternoons. Local pastors and worship teams will bring a message of hope, joy, love and Christian life to the ranch on Sundays from May – November.  This is a fun time for anyone to receive a message of hope and encouragement! Healing with Horses, facilitated by Dr. Avis Burnett will be open for groups of up to 6 people and will run in 3 week sessions from April – October.  Avis’s sessions are a must if you are looking to enhance your quality of life and living. http://www.avisburnett.com/  A Place of One~ness is a non-profit, spiritual organization which actively promotes peace and harmony between, and within, all beings.

Yoga and Meditation in the Yurt– will begin in late April, check our calendar and Peaceful Acres Horses facebook page for dates and info. This will be a soft introduction to yoga, the setting is perfect and the facilitators will help you to find balance and clarity.
